Caring for Our Community Means Working in Our Community

- We believe that service to others begins where we are

- We believe that it is up to us, not any governmental agency, to improve our lives and
the lives of others

- We believe that life does not consist in the great things we do, but the little things that
build into greater things

- We believe that we can make a difference . . . one home, one person at a time

- We believe that we have no need to wait to do good that we can do now

- We believe everyone can help
Dave Elswick Arkansans Care Foundation
Building Better Homes for Our Deserving Citizens
This is the first person that the Foundation helped
nearly six years ago.

In this lady's kitchen, water leaks had caused the
cabinetry around the sink to begin to rot and fall
apart.  She was unable to afford repairs, and just
lived with the situation.

It got progressively worse, until so much of the
cabinetry had fallen away that the sink was barely
being supported. The drawers of the cabinet were
unusable.  Most of the cabinet space was exposed
to the room and stayed soaked with water.

The constant standing water had led to a
dangerously unhealthy situation.

Because of generous donations, the Foundation
was able to make necessary repairs to this lady's
house.
